Thank you for visiting our site. I am Ann Marie Ptasinski and Caligo Books has been a vision of mine for many years. With the help and support of my partner, Marti Palmas, it has come into being.
Our vision is to provide more than a bookstore. We wanted to create a community, a sense of belonging. With the recent closing of many independently owned gay and lesbian bookstores within our communities, we feel it is important to create a safe and friendly place for people to exchange ideas. Though nothing can replace meeting others in person, we hope to provide a virtual forum for those that may not have access or the time to meet with others.
